Fortec was engaged by Main Roads for refurbishment of Bridge 667 over Minyulo Creek.

Details

This 40 year old timber bridge is located two hours north of Perth on the Brand Highway near Cataby.

The bridge comprises seven spans with an existing reinforced concrete overlay that was showing signs of fatigue.

The project included the provision of substructure and superstructure strengthening in the form of stringer and halfcap replacements, installation of steel driven piles, demolition of existing overlay and construction of new widened reinforced concrete deck and approach slabs under single lane closures.
