Australia’s largest child advocacy centre is being built on a heritage site at Midland’s historic railway workshops.
Fortec was awarded the contract to design and construct the post tensioned slabs from levels 1-4, the design consisted of approximately 5750m2 of suspended slab area with 28T of PT and 50T of reinforcement.
The scope included:
- Design and detail post tensioned floors.
- Fix recess forms and anchorages.
- Place and fix ducting.
- Install tendons.
- Stress tendons.
- Grout tendons.
- All works were self-performed by Fortec.
- Completed to budget.
- Design and site works completed on programme.
